Does my free zone company pay corporate tax?+

UAE corporate tax is 9% on taxable profit above AED 375,000, but qualifying free zone persons can retain a 0% rate on qualifying income. We test your revenue streams against the qualifying-activity rules and document the position.

When must I register for VAT?+

Registration is mandatory once taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 in a rolling 12 months, and voluntary above AED 187,500. We monitor your turnover and register before the threshold is breached.

Is an audit compulsory?+

Many free zones require audited accounts at licence renewal, and banks and corporate tax record-keeping rules effectively require them. We prepare statements with approved auditors either way.

How long must I keep records?+

At least seven years for corporate tax and five for VAT. We maintain a complete digital archive on your behalf so an FTA query is never a scramble.

Can you take over from another accountant mid-year?+

Yes. We reconcile the opening balances, correct any prior filings that need amendment, and continue without a gap in your reporting cycle.
